We are a new animation development and production group based in Nashville, TN. Our experience is in CG animation production for theatrical and direct-to-video projects.
Watchful Dragons is committed to producing stories that ignite the imagination, inspire wonder, and communicate spiritual truths with excellence.
We develop properties that have sharp cultural relevance within Christian families and are unashamedly transparent about sharing the truths of experience within that community. The stories we love are the ones that give us that feather-tickle in the belly, the ones that make the Gospel seem too good to not be true. Our films aren't just there to entertain or to teach, but to inspire.

On that side (as Author) I wrote fairy tales because the Fairy Tale seemed the ideal Form for the stuff I had to say. I thought I saw how stories of this kind could steal past a certain inhibition which had paralyzed much of my own religion in childhood. But supposing that by casting all these things into an imaginary world, stripping them of their stained-glass and Sunday School associations, one could make them for the first time appear in their real potency? Could one not thus steal past those watchful dragons?
